I reached a goal today. I looked up and put into practice a grounding technique that I think really helps!
It’s the 5,4,3,2,1 technique. Basically it 5 things you can see 4 things you can feel 3 things you can hear 2 things you can smell and 1 thing you can taste.
This will help my brain get out of the panic state and into a calm focused state (hopefully). I used it at work when it was really busy and I had a billion things going at once. It is always important to stay grounded and focused when trying to get things done.
I also have a timer set for 30 minutes. Every 30 minutes I have a list of things I need to get done and I just continue with that. It makes the time go by faster and the productivity higher!
